Mother’s Day treat 🍩

Truthfully, donuts are not my thing. But, every so often when I want a facsimile, a donut hole is just the perfect bite to satisfy that palatable appeal.

Dress to Impress with Lipoelastic Active Leggings!

Lipoelastic Active Leggings have been a staple in managing my Lipedema since they were released in 2021. The compression really helps to support and soften my fibrotic tissue and the smoothing factor is fantastic as you can see. This fabric holds up so well and does not pill! I use them as leggings alone for the gym, as compression under dresses and under pants as well. The smooth fabric makes them easier to get on and also is complimentary under dresses and pants.

I know you will love them and you can access a discount with my code:Curvygirlbeth, too.💜

Let me know what questions you have. Blue is my favorite of the colors because it pairs so well without being your standard black.

Gentle Warnings or Side Effects? A Pleasant Surprise on Day 364 of my Zepbound Journey!

Complications? Side Effects? Reactions? Dumping? Gentle Warnings?

Whatever you want to characterize them as, up until today, day 364 of my Zepbound journey, I had not encountered any issues with my .5ml dose.

Yet, here we are, just an hour or so after I started flushing and had to run for the toilet to VOMIT.🤢

Truthfully, it was not what you would normally think of because I had gastric bypass ( Rouen-Y) 22+ years ago so it was maybe 2 Tablespoons of volume but the point is that both my gastric bypass and my GLP1 kicked into action to keep me safe when my body encountered too much GREASE.

Fatty Foods and refined carbohydrates are not tolerated with a gastric bypass nor with a glp1 so, heads up, take my experience as a note to self, if you are feeling nauseous or vommiting on these shots (or, after Weightloss surgery) check your nutrition and see what may be overloading your system. And, remember, just because something worked one day doesn’t mean it won’t backfire on another day. Stay ready!

GLP1 Update – Weightloss Success 44.4 lbs⬇️

After shot #46, I am coming in with my progress update. Essentially, I have lost 1 lb with each shot during these past 45 shots since last May. Which tracks with my angel number of being down 44.4 lbs on the morning of this filming before my 46th shot🥳

Listen in for the latest update and drop me any questions you have about my experience over this journey. I remain at the 5.0 Zepbound dosage and have little to no side effects as I follow a very clean and simple eating plan that includes Water, Protein, occasional fruit and veggies and moderate fats typically 1500-1800 calories daily with about 60 carbs or less.

My Lumen Metabolic device has been a great help in tracking my improved metabolism. https://www.lumen.me/shop

Body Autonomy and Freedom is the Name of the Game!

Yep, if I can do it, so can you!

The feeling of accomplishment was even greater at this moment because when we set out from the Bellagio to head to Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas, I told my friends I would have to stay in the car while they hiked because my legs were killing me from the 40,000 steps I had already walked in the previous 2 days.

Already thankful that my Zepbound/GLP 1 journey has helped me reduce the inflammation of my Lipedema and have been able to release 60lbs over the past year, I was thrilled that I had been able to handle those 20k steps each day and didn’t want to push I since we still had 2 days to go.

By the grace of God, I felt I would give it a try when we got to the the lost creek trail cause I wanted to see the waterfall and they said it was easy. Well, every hiker we encountered said it was a medium hike at best and I was happy that not only my body but my mind was able to take on this adventure. At a few points, my friends had to lend me some support (really for my mind mostly) but I did it!

A reminder of how much body autonomy and freedom is the name of the game! The extra weight I was carrying would not have allowed me to navigate this hike even if just from a proprioception standpoint.

Thankful that I am back to a more comfortable place that allows me to move about the world and do the things I want.

We all have the ability to reclaim our best lives. If you need some help and perspective from someone who has fought their way back, comment “Cheer Me On” for next steps👏
