Big MAMA Trend … Lipedema Edition

Finally jumping in on this trend…In many circles, even though I am down 70lbs, I would still be considered a “Big Mama” cause A) I am a Mama and B) my bottom half is still incredibly disproportionate from my top and the volume is clearly present! In case you are new here, all this lusciousness from my waist down is rooted in a disease called LIPEDEMA. LIPEDEMA affects at least 11% of women yet is rarely diagnosed and typically misdiagnosed as simply obesity for decades yet it is a connective tissue disorder that is characterized by the abnormal build up of diseased fat from the waist down and often in the upper arms.

Cue the track “Big Mama” as a theme song thru the end of June for Lipedema Awareness Month💜

Let me know what questions you have regarding Lipedema. If you or someone you know has a body similar to mine, they too may have Lipedema.

Save this post as a reference and reach out for guidance💜 My calendar is tagged in the info in my profile.
