I have missed you ALL! Today, I’m popping in to remind you about the FDRS 2024 Annual Conference in St. Louis starting tomorrow! THIS is our annual event for Lipedema, Dercum’s and other connected diseases.
The FDRS (Fat Disorders Resource Society) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by adipose tissue disorders. This year’s exciting lineup of experts will discuss non-surgical and surgical options to manage Lipedema, Dercum’s, and Madelung’s disease.
For the THIRD year in a row, I’ll be hosting the fashion show and helping the Lipedema Education Group (LEG) talk about our new initiatives to serve patients and practioners. This is the fifth year I have attended FDRS and, I am amazed to reflect that it is the third FDRS fashion show I have coordinated / hosted, and the fifth I’ve participated in as a model! During the past two months, I have had the pleasure of working individually with our model volunteers to ensure they showcase outfits that bring out their glow.
